Practice Fees

Patients can either register and pay for each appointment or can opt to join our annual membership scheme.

Cancellations

At Mews Medical, we value your time and are committed to providing exceptional care to all our patients. To ensure availability for everyone, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% charge of the consultation fee for non-members. For members, the appointment will be deducted from your annual consultation allowance.

Missed appointments without any notice will be charged at 100% of the consultation fee. For members, the appointment will be deducted from your allowance and an administration fee of £50 will apply.

We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us deliver the highest standard of care.

Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions are available for ongoing medications once you have been assessed by one of our doctors and an initial prescription has been provided.

Patients on regular medication require an annual medication review to ensure their treatment remains safe and effective.

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made by email.

Please allow up to 48 hours for repeat prescriptions to be processed.

There is no additional prescription fee for ongoing medication, provided your annual review has been completed. However, please note that any new medication requested by telephone or email, without a consultation, may incur a fee.

Payments

To confirm your appointment with one of our doctors, we kindly request your card details at the time of booking. This allows us to secure the appointment you have requested.

Please rest assured that no payment will be taken without your consent, unless we have been unable to reach you to obtain your authorisation within the 30-day period allowed for outstanding payments.

Your security and privacy are extremely important to us. All card details are processed and stored securely via Stripe, a trusted and fully encrypted payment provider. No one at our clinic has access to your full card information.
