Dr Baldeep Syan is a GMC-registered Private GP and Founder of Mews Medical, based in West London, with additional experience practising on Harley Street. She is known for her caring, patient-centred approach and her belief that holistic and preventative medicine form the foundation of effective, long-term family healthcare.

She holds dual membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), alongside an MBChB with Honours, BSc (Hons), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Oncology.

 

Medical Training & Professional Background
 

Before qualifying as a doctor, Dr Syan trained and worked as a Physiotherapist, giving her a unique, whole-person perspective on health, rehabilitation, and preventative care.

She studied medicine at the University of Leicester, graduating with honours in 2011, and completed her junior doctor training across West London hospitals, gaining broad experience across multiple medical specialties. She later undertook GP training on the Riverside GP Training Scheme in Chelsea, achieving MRCP in 2016 and MRCGP in 2019.

 

Cancer & Diagnostic Expertise

Dr Baldeep Syan previously worked extensively in the NHS, where she developed a specialist interest in Cancer diagnostics and Oncology. She established and led the Rapid Diagnostic Centre for Cancer at West Middlesex Hospital and served as the Lung Cancer Screening Lead for North West London.

These roles refined her diagnostic expertise and underpin the thorough, meticulous approach she brings to private practice at Mews Medical, particularly when assessing complex or unexplained symptoms.
